SECOND UPDATE:
Incredibly, the second three-day retreat we opened up to the wait list has also sold out. Thank you for all of the interest, I'm shocked and delighted that so many people want to spend this special time making paper flowers and getting to know each other. Ali at The Makerie and I will certainly be looking for opportunities to offer similar retreats together in the future.
UPDATE:
The retreat sold out right away. We have a wait list and are looking into adding another event if possible. For now, click "REGISTER" at this link and it will take you to the wait list.

I am so delighted to share that I will be joining Ali de John and The Makerie in a special fall Mini Makerie session in Boulder, CO at the beautiful studio space of At Hand Studio.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to share the curriculum I have been working on with you, and am so looking forward to working closely in an intimate group over three days to create some beautiful things, share our creative processes with each other, and teach each other a little bit about how we can take better care of ourselves.
I hope you can join us. I'm filled with anticipation of what we will create and what we will learn from each other during this three day retreat.
Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, February 27th. Follow this link to find out the entire program and register. Spots are limited.

Here is a little more, from Ali:
"Join renowned paper flower artist and author Tiffanie Turner in an intimate and intensive 3-day retreat on the fine art of paper flowers. Tiffanie will be guiding you through the creation of five different blooms and their foliage, focusing on different techniques with each flower. Students will observe and have hands-on practice in many paper staining and treatment methods, leaving with the ability to tackle many other flowers with the skills they have learned. In addition to the workshops, Tiffanie will share insight into her creative process, her fine art work, and on transitioning her career from architect to full time artist while raising a family. In the spirit of celebrating self-care, we will have an open lunchtime discussion on the second day to share our perspectives on work, creativity and home/life balance, with the hope that we can learn or be inspired by others in helping to achieve greater levels of personal care.
The workshop will end with a chance to photograph our flowers all together in a beautiful bouquet arranged by our group, and each student will take home their flowers, abundant inspiration and materials to make more."
